A pretty insane week at the agency

I’ve been thinking about how much changed this year.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how different the agency feels compared to the beginning of this year.

Over the last 8 months, we’ve made some of the biggest strides in the history of the agency.

We’ve grown to 60 clients, moved further upmarket, built a distribution network reaching millions of people every month, built AI systems across strategy, research, and content, and gotten me completely out of delivery.

And lately I’ve started seeing the result of all that work show up everywhere at once.

Last week alone:

- one client closed a $78K deal because of X

- another joined us 3 weeks ago, revived a dead account, and closed a deal with a brand spending millions a year

- one of our DWY clients installed our frameworks and started closing whale clients from X with multiple booked calls

- an 8-figure agency owner added thousands of followers in 10 days

- a 9-figure SaaS founder hit millions of impressions directly inside his ICP

- another SaaS founder went viral on his third post with us and started generating leads

And those are just the easy wins to screenshot.

There’s also dozens of smaller wins happening alongside them every week.

- better engagement from the right people.

- more qualified inbound.

- more conversations starting.

- more clients becoming known inside the exact spaces they came to us wanting to own.

Seeing all of that happen at the same time has been pretty surreal.

We’ve spent this year obsessing over every part of the machine.

How we research an account before writing anything.

How we decide which conversations a founder should be part of.

How we build authority around a handful of ideas.

How we distribute the content.

How we review the data every week and turn winners into more winners.

Every time we hit a constraint, we’ve gone back into the business and fixed it.

I’ve also invested $50K+ into learning from people already operating at the level we’re trying to reach. Whenever someone has already solved a problem we’re running into, I want to understand exactly how they did it and figure out what we can apply here.

That process has shaped a huge amount of what the agency looks like today.

Moving our ICP upmarket was another huge one.

The average client we work with now does 8 figures a year. They make decisions quickly, understand the value of building authority, and come into the relationship ready to execute.

They also tend to know other founders operating at that level.

Some of the coolest opportunities we’ve gotten this year have come from one great founder introducing us to another, who eventually introduces us to someone else.

I don’t take that lightly.

There was a point where I was questioning whether this business was even worth continuing.

Now I’m looking at 60 clients, a team running delivery without me, clients winning across completely different industries, and a very clear path toward 100.

I’m extremely grateful for everyone who trusted us while we were figuring this out, and especially for the team that keeps making all of these little wins happen every day.

Feels like we’re just getting started.
