Every industry is being cannibalized by AI except for these founders

The reason they’re scaling while everyone else is caught up in the doom and gloom

Call centers are being automated.

Ad creatives being done by AI tools.

Legal.

Design.

Video editing.

Customer support.

Every industry is getting “cannibalized” in 2026.

At least that’s what people believe.

But the people that are the best at what they do, the industry leaders, the reputable are standing their ground and even scaling right now.

And the reason isn’t complicated.

When everyone around you starts producing more with less, the only way to stand out is by building trust.

The business owners I’m seeing lead their niches all have one thing in common…

People already know them before a single sales conversation happens.

-The trust precedes them.

-Their ads convert better.

-Their cold outreach gets responses.

-They walk into rooms and people already feel like they know them.

AI didn’t build that.

Years of showing up with a point of view did.

The thing about the “AI is eating everything” narrative is that it’s true for the generic, interchangeable and for the people who built their reputation on a skill that a tool can now replicate in seconds.

It doesn’t touch the person who built a reputation around how they think and their experience Your perspective, your hard-won opinions, the specific way your mind connects problems to solutions are still yours.

Nobody’s prompting their way to that.

Nobody can, it would take years of being in your exact shoes for that to happen.

But that makes it your biggest asset.

The founders who are going to get left behind in the next 5 years are the ones who used AI as a substitute for thinking and experiencing.

The ones who will solidify their standing in their industry’s will use it to systemize everything around their thinking. But leave the thinking to their mind and experience-stacking to themselves.

I got a fun little exercise for you now:

  1. Open your notes app right now.

  2. Write down the one belief about your industry you’ve never said publicly, but make it one you’d fight for in a room full of people who disagree.

That’s your first moat.

Start building around it.
