Meth & content creation
My first in-person speech

I wanna talk about meth real quick.
No, I’ve never done it.
But I promise this is relevant to personal branding so stay with me.
Recently I’ve been watching Breaking Bad with my wife.
And in this show the main character is a guy named Walter White.
He’s a genius chemist who learns everything possible to cook up the greatest meth out there.
He’s got a brother-in-law named Hank who is a DEA agent that has no idea that Walter is producing and distributing meth.
(SPOILER ALERT)
He gets shot.
He falls on the ground and he says he feels like there’s something he can sniff but he can’t quite make it out yet.
He understands he’s close though.
And THAT is the perfect analogy for everyone who thought they were right but way off.
Yet that one thing could probably change the trajectory of their business.
And before I tell you what that one thing is I’m gonna give you a quick story.
Back in 2016 I was building Instagram accounts.
I had multiple millions of followers and was growing 800 different accounts simultaneously.
How?
I was reposting other people’s content.
I had Facebook accounts. Theme pages. Lamborghini accounts. Fitness accounts. Travel. Dogs. You name it.
All while I was 16. I thought I was hot shit.
Then I realized there’s a limit of how much money I can make here; a ceiling that couldn’t be cracked.
So my business partner at the time asked me to fly out to Pakistan with him and run the marketing for all of his business..
I built him dozens of IG accounts and started blowing him up.
We scaled from 15 employees to 75 employees.
We had Ecom brands & Shopify apps – one of which sold for a few million dollars.
Then we had our own marketing agency and we were doing a lot of cool things.
But at this time I realized I needed to start closing more deals.
My business theme page accounts were not converting.\\I wasn’t getting any right lead flow coming in.
And I asked my business partner what we should do.
He suggests we hit up some events.
So we flew to LA, New York, Dubai, and a bunch of other places going to all these events with one goal in mind:
Meet as many people and close as many deals as possible.
I was cold approaching all these people pitching my services like one of those pick up artists on YouTube.
And then at event number 3, I closed my biggest deal yet. A $20,000 deal.
It was at that point I came to a major realization:
Every single person at the event that I spoke to trusted me as a human being.
My personality, convictions, and mindset were selling them through nothing but trust.
You’d think it was so obvious, but you don’t realize it until you’re in those trenches yourself.
Your conviction – as a founder – sells.
Fast forward a bit.
I started going to more and more events and I realized this in-person sales thing wasn’t scalable.
I can’t go to event after event when I’m trying to scale my company.
My operations weren’t the best, nor was my customer support, nor fulfillment, etc.
So I thought to myself “what can I do to do this at scale?”
Fast forward a few years later, I left that partnership and started up the Wiz of Ecom brand.
And the Wiz of Ecom brand is where I encompass this entire lesson:
That you need to have a face for your brand as a founder selling something high ticket.
It’s either you or someone you hire to be that face.
It can be a cheerleader that’s shouting out your name, but you need a face of some sort for your brand to sell.
Why is this so important?
Why can’t you just stay anonymous in 2025?
Because the era of the attention economy has come to an end.
Attention is no longer the most valuable currency out there.
Truth is it actually never has been.
What happens when you run paid ads?
Or when you send out a cold email campaign?
Or when you post content? Or looking for referrals?
Gathering attention is one aspect of it, but that’s not the end goal
The end goal is trust. Nothing less, nothing more (aside from a sale).
The attention economy is out, the trust economy is in
And the trust economy is based around another 1 word: Authority
Authority is based off of a very simple formula
It is conviction times authenticity
What is conviction?
Conviction is the hill that you will die on.
When you cultivate authority people will associate your niche with you.
When you think of selling courses you might think of Iman Gadzhi.
When you think of self improvement you might think of Hamza Ahmed.
When you think of nose strips you might think of Alex Hormozi.
Yet – there’s one thing all of these figures have in common.
They all build a personal brand.
Not just in the background.
They’re going all in on it.
And not just them.
Look at all the major CEOs, founders, and business owners that have gone out into the world today.
Almost none of them are passing up on this upcoming golden age for personal brands.
And my conviction is that – your personal brand is without a doubt the most valuable asset you will ever own.
You get connections.
You get opportunities.
You get lead flow.
And I fully believe you could look your business, all your stock, all your crypto, and even your real estate–
But if you still have your personal brand, you’re in good standing no matter what
