My DMs Close Clients Before A Single Sales Call

I’ll share the secret that does the heavy lifting before they ever reach out...

People think sales is about persuasion.

That you need to “handle objections.” That you need a sales call script. That you need to build out a full funnel just to get someone to say yes.

But let me walk you through how 90% of my sales happen:

→ Someone finds me on X or LinkedIn.

→ They’ve been watching for weeks or months.

→ They’ve seen the client results.

→ They’ve read my stories.

→ They’ve watched my face reveal.

→ They know what I do and why I’m THE guy to do it.

Eventually, they send a message.

Sometimes it’s:

“Yo, I’ve been following for months…what would it look like to work together?”

Other times, it's:

“Bro. I’m sold. Send me the invoice.”

No need for a discovery call or a pitch deck or sales page.

Just one DM, and they’re ready.

And you know what I do?

I get on a call after I validate whether they’re a good fit for my offer.

Then after talking about their pain points, expectations and walking them through the roadmap, I let them know:

“It’s $X/month. We run your strategy, write your content, and grow your personal brand. Want in?”

That’s it. Then I sit there while they decide whether they’re in or out.

This isn’t a “magic close” but it’s the process I follow after building trust for years.

I’ve tweeted every day since 2020, I’ve run thousands of tests and I’ve published every case study, every lesson, every belief I hold.

And when someone lands on my profile, they know exactly what I stand for.

Because I’ve built the trust to do the selling and I’m using the sales as the alignment.

When someone already believes you’re the best person to solve their problem, the “sale” isn’t a negotiation because they’re not looking for persuasion. They’re looking for permission to move forward.

That changes your role from being there to convince them to showing them what they can expect from your service.

But if you’re still finding yourself in back-and-forths, getting ghosted after discovery calls, or feeling like you have to prove your value every time…

You don’t have a sales problem.

Either people don’t see you enough on the timeline to remember you or worse, they’ve seen you, but they’re still not sure you’re the real deal.

Either way, the fix isn’t to become a better closer.

It is building a brand people trust before the sale starts

So if you're building a personal brand and wondering, “how do I turn this into clients?”

It starts with trust. But not the shallow kind. I’m talking long-term reputation equity.

The kind that builds behind the scenes while you're not even online.

The kind that gets someone to DM you with a credit card ready.

And if you want that kind of brand?

That’s what we do for our clients inside Mogul.

We handle the strategy, the writing, the positioning, the system…

So you can sit back and do what I do:

Let your content sell before you ever say a word.
