Open if you hate posting on X.

BUT you know how important it is to have a personal brand.

Not going to go on about how founders dread posting on X or the reservations or hesitations or the rhyme, reason or logic for any of it.

Once you start getting higher-quality engagement on your content, you’re going to enjoy posting a lot more.

And the most predictable way to do this is using snipes.

A snipe is finding a viral or key conversation happening in your industry and joining it with an opinion (using the right content format).

This is how you’re going to do this.

  1. Find the conversation.

  2. Lead with an authority statement.

  3. Add a small story or your specific take on the topic.

  4. Turn it into a listicle or a long-form post or some other trending format.

Let me explain the why,

  1. The authority statement tells the reader you have the right to speak on the topic

  2.  The story or take is the part they’ll remember

  3. The format is what makes it screenshottable and saveable

Skip any of these and the snipe just becomes a reply nobody looks at.

The reason this works is simple.

The algorithm is already pushing the original post to the right people. When you show up in the reply thread with a structured, opinionated take, you get in front of the exact audience the algorithm has already qualified without needing your own post to break through.

It’s the lowest-hanging fruit for becoming relevant in the right conversations.

Most founders don’t do this because it feels like less credit than posting original content.

But they couldn’t be more wrong.

Some of the most known founders in the space are a part of every conversation, under every post and super active in their community.

Question is, how long till you understand why and start running their playbook?
