So... I just hit 150,000 followers

This post is different from the usual ones.

It's not about a strategy, system, or a way to make more money.

Instead, I want to reflect on a milestone that I just hit 150,000 followers on 𝕏.

I started this account on February 14th, 2020, at a time when I was going through one of the toughest periods of my life.

I was leaving a partnership that was draining me. I was sitting at 125 pounds, six feet tall, living in offices, and feeling completely unfulfilled. I was depressed, stressed, and wasn’t making any money I could actually take home.

One day, off a whim, I decided to create this account. I didn’t know what would come of it, but I just wanted to start tweeting and share the behind-the-scenes of what I had already

accomplished. By that point, I had built e-commerce brands, software, Shopify apps, and a marketing agency. I wanted to share everything I knew.

I started anonymously as Wiz of Ecom, and over the next few months, I started connecting with some of the most incredible people I’ve ever met. My best friends. My wife. My team. All the people who mean the world to me, I met through this app and by building this personal brand.

It’s been an incredibly beautiful journey. Yes, I’ve made millions, but more importantly, I’ve been able to take care of my parents, my in-laws, and build something I’m deeply proud of.

This presence will follow me for the rest of my life, and it’s only the beginning.

I’ve been a part of thousands of lives, connected with amazing people, helped others get out of their ruts, and learned from mentors who have shaped me. I’m so grateful for everything this journey has brought me.

I just want to thank you for being a part of my journey, for reading what I have to say, and learning throughout these years.

Here’s to 150,000 followers, and here’s to continuing this journey.
