The hidden piece of your personal brand (it’s right under your nose)
Most founders are ONLY one step away from building trust

I want to start this email by talking about meth.
No, not that kind.
I’ve been rewatching Breaking Bad lately with my wife, and there’s this scene where Walter White is cooking the PUREST meth anyone’s ever seen. Meanwhile, his brother-in-law Hank is a DEA agent whose job is literally to catch guys like Walter but he has no clue.
Hank even tells his wife, “I can smell it. It’s right here,” but he still can’t see what’s right in front of him.
Every time I see that, I think to myself…
“Man, how can you be that close and miss it completely?”
Then I think about how many founders I talk to every week who are doing the same thing.
> They’re creating content
> They’re posting consistently
> They’re showing up every day
But they’re missing the one thing that would change everything.
Just like Hank, it’s right under their nose but they can’t see it.
And look, I’m not free of blame either because back in 2016, I was running 800 Instagram theme pages. I had million of followers in accounts in every niche you could think of Lamborghini, food, fitness, travel, golden retrievers.
I had all the attention in the world, but my business accounts WERE NOT converting.
It wasn’t until much later that I realized it was because attention doesn’t convert. Trust does.
That’s when I decided to build my personal brand on Twitter with a single goal:
To help one person a day.
I didn’t have an agency behind me or big name or ran any fancy ads.
All I had was my conviction and willingness to show up consistently with my real stories, real wins, and real failures.
Twelve months later, I’d rebuilt everything I lost from my partnership.
The Wiz of Ecom brand generated over $1,000,000 in revenue in its first year.
And I started attracting opportunities, connections, trust, and leverage I couldn’t have bought with any ad budget.
That’s when I realized that building a personal brand wasn’t optional anymore. It was the SINGLE GREATED ASSET I had ever built.
Most founders are so busy posting content that they forget the foundation which is their own conviction.
Conviction is the difference between attention and trust.
It’s the difference between being Hank (close but clueless) and being Walter (calm, in control, and completely unstoppable)
