- They copied our winning strategy.
They copied our winning strategy.
And it still didn’t work.

I have multiple clients generating dozens of qualified leads a month from X and LinkedIn. A few are doing tens of booked calls a month, and some are doing 40+.
From the outside, it probably looks like they’re doing nothing special.
That’s because most of them aren’t reinventing anything. They give us their stories, opinions and expertise, and we connect that raw material to the right topics, conversations and formats.
When a format works, we keep running it. Not forever, but long enough to get the value out of it while we test the next vehicle behind the scenes.
Most people think good content strategy is constant novelty. It’s usually the opposite: find what’s working, milk it, and quietly build the next thing while everyone else is still figuring out the current one.
Recently, two people hired us after trying to copy exactly what we do for clients and for my own account.
They tracked the formats, the topics and the conversations. On paper they were doing the right things, and the posts still underperformed badly.
It wasn’t because they were lazy or not smart. They just didn’t understand the nuance behind what they were copying.
A Google Doc screenshot looks simple: make a doc, type some stuff, post it.
But whether it gets ignored or takes off comes down to details most people never notice.
The size of the page, the spacing, how the information is chunked, what gets emphasized, what gets cut, and how it feels at a glance before anyone reads a word.

Infographics are the same. People think it’s a few boxes, some arrows and a headline. The performance actually comes from the reading flow, how much is on screen, what becomes a step, and what gets shown visually instead of written.

The format alone is not the edge. The nuance is.
That’s why most people who copy what’s working only get the outer shell. They don’t see why that topic worked in that format for that audience at that moment, or why one detail was included and another was cut.
On our side, we apply the format to the client’s account with the right topic, the right conversation and the right packaging.
That’s how clients go niche viral and start generating leads, and we’ve watched it happen over and over.
Some of our best results came from founders who basically said, “You clearly know what you’re doing. I’m just going to blindly follow this.”
That’s not a joke.
Once they stop second-guessing every post and just give us the raw material, the account gets more predictable every month, with better posts, more reach, more inbound and more booked calls.
It’s a game of time and of staying close to the right formats, conversations and topics in your industry.
Do that long enough, and your personal brand \ starts working like a lead flow system.
