You have money at your fingertips that you look the other way for

Every day, millions of dollars change hands because 2 people recognize each other's names. And you’re not a part of the transaction

When people think about X, they usually think about content.

- Posts.

- Threads.

- Memes.

- Arguments.

- Algorithms.

That's the wrong way to look at it.

I’ve been building my personal brand on X for 6 years.

And X is one of the largest networking events in the world.

The best part is it never ends.

Every day, someone is:

→ Looking for an agency.

→ Hiring an operator.

→ Raising capital.

→ Buying software.

→ Looking for a consultant.

→ Selling a company.

→ Looking for their next investment.

And it's ALLLLL happening in public.

X has hundreds of millions of active users.

More importantly, it attracts founders, operators, investors, executives, journalists and buyers at a density that's hard to find anywhere else.

If you walked into a room with 10,000 people like that, you'd probably stay all day, shake hands, start conversations. exchange numbers, follow up.

Instead...

People open X, post once, close the app then sit on their hands.

That's like walking into the biggest conference

The people getting clients from X usually are the most familiar.

Someone sees them in replies.

Then a post.

Then a podcast clip.

Then someone else mentions their name.

A month later they need exactly what that person sells.

So, they don't search Google or ask ChatGPT.

They remember the name they've already seen 20 times.

And that's how an opportunity is created.

It can happen from a viral post.

But most people usually need a couple touchpoints to form some trust. This happens with repeated exposure over time.

This is also why follower count gets far more attention than it deserves.

You don't need millions of followers.

You need the right people seeing your name often enough that it feels familiar before they ever need your service.

The mistake founders make is treating X like a publishing platform.

It's much closer to a relationship platform.

Every post tells people you're still here.

Every reply introduces you to someone else's audience.

Every conversation becomes another chance for someone to remember your name.

Then, when they're finally ready to hire...

You're no longer a stranger.

You're the obvious choice.

Before you open X today

Ask yourself one question.

"If someone needed exactly what I sell next week...would they remember my name?"

If the answer is no, don't spend today looking to go viral.

Spend today becoming familiar.

P.S. If you want to build the presence that gets your name in front of the right people, in the right places, often enough that when someone needs what you sell, you're already the first name they think of. Book a call with me and let’s talk about your personal brand.
